Dine BNE City 2024:
Returns with over 50 unique dining experiences this June

Brisbane City’s best restaurants and bars are setting their tables and preparing to seat foodies and fun-seekers alike when the popular Dine BNE City returns this June.

Following a hugely successful event in 2023, Dine BNE City returns from 1 – 30 June, serving up a marvellous menu of more than 90 exclusive offers and special events at over 50 of Brisbane City’s best restaurants and bars.

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said he was excited to see Dine BNE City return to inspire locals and visitors to experience incredible culinary offerings in the heart of The City.

“Brisbane’s largest annual dining program, Dine BNE City, is back in June and ready to make our fantastic hospitality scene even better,” Cr Schrinner said.

“This year’s menu is sure to entice foodie fans once again, serving up a blend of the city’s best culinary experiences and curated line-up of special events.

“Dine BNE City offers delicious deals for every taste and budget, from lunch specials to fine dining, enticing city workers, friends and families to discover Brisbane’s thriving dining scene this winter.

“The jam-packed program is a boon for local Brisbane businesses, as visitors fill restaurants and lifestyle precincts while supporting our local economy.”

Brisbane’s hottest dining event of the year, Fireside, ignites the foodie festivities on Friday 31 May.

Hosted at the grounds of St. Stephen's Cathedral, the exclusive ticketed event is a showcase of The City's culinary excellence with food from Donna Chang, Settimo and Babylon Brisbane and decadent desserts and drinks from Walter's Steakhouse and Wine Bar and The Gresham Bar.

Donna Chang Head Chef Lyndon Tyers said he was delighted by the enthusiastic response to last year’s Fireside event and looked forward to showcasing their modern Asian menu for this 2024 event.

"I'm so proud to be cooking at the Fireside event again this year with Donna Chang. It really is a great moment to showcase our menu amongst some amazing talent within our Brisbane community of chefs and restaurants'', Mr Tyers said.

In addition to Fireside, the Dine BNE City program is serving up a smorgasbord of ticketed special events from some of The City’s biggest names.

Walter’s Steakhouse & Wine Bar offers an escape from the winter chill with Walter’s Saturday Winter Roast on 15 and 29 June, featuring an indulgent spread of slow-roasted Angus rib fillet and paired sides for the perfect date night dinner.

Enjoy a decadent post-work Tasmania & Tillerman Wine Dinner at Tillerman Seafood and Restaurant Bar from June 12 with Executive Chef Suwisa Phoonsang-Robb curating a five-course spread, paired with Tasmanian wines.

Madame Wu welcomes diners with a 6FT6 Wine and Patient Wolf Gin Cocktail Dinner on 12 June that partners premium wines and cocktails with a mouth-watering menu of modern Asian dishes.

As part of the 2024 program, foodies can choose from three distinct categories: $25 and $35 midday meals at a selection of Brisbane City venues through Let's Do Lunch, signature cocktails and curated bar snacks with Bar Safari, and exceptional dinner menus at iconic restaurants through Supper Club.

Let's Do Lunch collates midday meal options at a selection of The City’s best restaurants, ranging from fast, fresh and affordable fare to bespoke banquets and long lunches. From an Express Lunch at Alchemy Restaurant and Bar to Steak Frites & Pinot from Gather Bistro, there’s over 30 lunch offers diners can choose from.

Bar Safari is back by popular demand with Brisbane City’s best bars and restaurants mixing crowd-favourite drinks and signature cocktails, with food pairings for an after-work tipple or social soiree.

Enjoy a glass of Dom Perignon and fresh oysters at Rothwell’s Bar & Grill for a taste of luxury or schedule a mid-week catch-up with a friend over a Beer & Bao from The City’s newest restaurant, Longwang.

Specially curated dinner menus from The City’s most iconic restaurants encourage diners to make a night of it in The City and join its bustling Supper Club.

From the immersive Dine in the Dark experience, featuring a three-course dinner and drink in total darkness at Santa Monica, to The Lex's Steak,Salad & Sips experience, there's a culinary adventure for every appetite.

Dine BNE City ambassador Tessa Boersma is a Brisbane local and lover of The City’s restaurants and bars.
